Kent Medical Campus unveils new brand

Coinciding with it becoming a Government approved Enterprise Zone, Kent Medical Campus in Maidstone has unveiled a new corporate brand to promote it as a home for health, science and education.

Gary Watson of JLL, the property advisers for Kent Medical Campus, said: “The new brand fits perfectly with what Kent Medical Campus has to offer like-minded, innovative businesses involved in exciting new health, science and educational ventures. It positions us as being the place where the worlds of health, science and education come together.”

Kent Medical Campus is now officially part of the North Kent Enterprise Zone, which incorporates sites in Ebbsfleet Garden City, and Rochester Airport Technology Park in Medway.

Gary Watson added: “Being an Enterprise Zone enables new businesses locating here to benefit from financial incentives, notably through reduced business rates.

“Of equal importance is the Enterprise Zone label, in effect a high profile vote of confidence from the Government, Maidstone Borough Council and others in our ability to create new business space for up to 4,000 jobs locally.

“The new brand will help us tell our exciting story better and reach out to those businesses we want to persuade to be part of a dynamic cluster of collaborative organisations.”

The brand was developed by Impact, the design agency based at Kings Hill, near Maidstone, which also created a new website at www.kentmedicalcampus.com
