KIMS Hospital at Kent Medical Campus has made it through to the finals of the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) 2017.
Shortlisted in the Employer of the Year category, KIMS Hospital is one of 50 companies in the finals from among the 312 who entered – the highest number ever received.
Simon James CEO of KIMS Hospital said: “All of us here at KIMS Hospital are delighted that we have reached the finals of the KEiBAs. The health and wellbeing of our people is at the heart of all we do and this is reflected in the care and passion we have for our patients, 99% of whom would recommend us to a friend.”
KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent, treating both NHS and private patients, since it opened in 2014. It recently invested £250,000 in new technology for its fifth operating theatre, meeting a growing demand for orthopaedic procedures.
Gary Watson of Kent Medical Campus, said: “We wish the team at KIMS Hospital all the best in the finals, as they are great ambassadors for the campus.”
KIMS Hospital is being joined on Kent Medical Campus by Cygnet Health Care, which is currently building a 64-bed mental health hospital.
