KIMS

KIMS Hospital, based at Kent Medical Campus, is the county’s largest independent hospital providing prompt, safe, quality health care for the Kent community.

KIMS Hospital was the first phase of Kent Medical Campus and now employs over 300 staff and works with more than 250 Consultants across a range of specialties.

The Hospital contains five operating theatres, two endoscopy suites and an interventional cardiology suite supported by 99 patient beds and enhanced recovery facilities. In addition, there is a private GP service onsite along with a sport medicine and physical therapy team.

Working in partnership with some of the UK’s leading medical companies, KIMS Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and innovative diagnostic and imaging services. Cygnet Health Care

Cygnet Health Care is a best in class provider and has been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for almost 30 years. With a true focus on outcomes those who use or commission its services can be assured it is an experienced, service user focused provider of quality treatment, care and rehabilitation.

The hospital being developed at Kent Medical Campus will provide 65 beds across four separate services. There will be generous facilities for therapeutic and recreational activities, training and administration.

The proposed building will provide an average of 86 m2 total floor space per service user, the highest of any Cygnet development.
